You can permanently delete your Pemsi account at any time. Account deletion removes everything we have associated with you — there's nothing left for us to restore later, even if you ask.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Pemsi on your iPhone or Android device.
- Tap Profile in the bottom tab bar.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Account → Delete account.
- Confirm with your password (or with Apple / Google sign-in, depending on how you signed up).
- Tap Permanently delete.
Deletion happens immediately. The app signs you out, wipes the on-device DataStore, and queues a final API call that removes the server-side copy.
Delete by email (if you can't open the app)
If your device is lost, broken, or you simply prefer email, write to support@pemsi.serenity.games from the address you used to sign up. Include the word "delete" in the subject line.
We confirm the request from a real human within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 14 days of confirmation.
What gets deleted
- Profile — your name, email, password hash, account creation date, language preference.
- Cycle history — every period start/end you ever logged, plus the predicted dates derived from them.
- Symptom log — every check-in: mood, cramps, energy, flow, sex, sleep, notes you wrote, intensity ratings.
- Planner items — events, recurrences and the hard-day warnings attached to them.
- AI Coach conversations — every message you exchanged with the Coach, including the topic seeds.
- Sync queue — any pending changes that hadn't yet reached the server.
- Premium entitlement record — the row in our database that says "this user has Pro." Note: this does NOT cancel your Google Play or App Store subscription (see below).
What we keep, briefly, and why
- Audit log of the deletion — a single row recording "account ID X was deleted on date Y by request". No content, no metadata about you. Kept for 30 days in case you mistakenly delete and ask us to re-check. After 30 days even this row is gone.
- Payment receipts — required by tax authorities. We retain the receipt ID and transaction timestamp (no identifying information about you) for the legally-required period (typically 7 years).
- Web server access logs — IP addresses and request paths, kept for 30 days for abuse / security investigation, then auto-rotated and discarded. These are not joined to any user record once your account is deleted.
Cancel your subscription separately
Deleting your Pemsi account does not cancel an active Pemsi Pro subscription. The subscription belongs to your Google or Apple ID, not to Pemsi, so we can't cancel it for you.
- Google Play — open the Play Store app → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → tap Pemsi Pro → Cancel subscription.
- Apple App Store — Settings → [Your name] → Subscriptions → tap Pemsi Pro → Cancel Subscription.
If you cancel before deleting the Pemsi account, you'll keep Pro features until the end of the period you already paid for. If you cancel after, Pro stays attached to your Apple/Google ID until that period ends — but the entitlement won't have anywhere to apply because the Pemsi account is gone. You won't be charged again either way.
